Afraid to Pray?

Do we keep our prayers general because we are afraid?

Maybe we are afraid because we haven’t spent time in prayer and in the Word that we don’t really know what to specifically pray for?

Maybe we are afraid because we have doubts about God? We don’t want to pray for something specific, only to have it not answered.

Or maybe we are afraid because it WILL be answered. Causing us to recognize that God is really real. That He really does answer prayers. He really is who He says He is…and that will cause us to rethink our entire lives?

Maybe?
